WHY DANUBE DELTA?
The Danube Delta is one of Europe’s most extraordinary natural ecosystems and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is home to thousands of plant and animal species and plays a crucial role in biodiversity conservation, climate resilience and sustainable development.
Yet this unique environment faces increasing challenges including pollution, habitat degradation and climate change.
We believe that young people can become a powerful force in protecting and regenerating this remarkable region.
